Desoldering's primary objective
is to melt the solder at a through hole or surface mount connection
and to extract it swiftly and cleanly. This allows easy removal
of the component and ideally leaves behind only a residual coating
of solder. Field tests of the Hexacon DS101-V Desoldering Station
have shown it to provide optimized desoldering performance as
demonstrated by the minimal required dwell time of its tip on
the joint coupled with fast reflow and immediate extraction of
the molten solder. The DS101-V's vacuum/temperature
base unit features an aluminum and brass venturi vacuum generator
and spike-free, low voltage DC switching. The DS101-P integrates
an efficient diaphragm pump making it a stand-alone and easily
portable desoldering system. The desoldering hand tool features
a large, clear collection chamber that is easily removed for
cleaning and transfer tube radiator fins that efficiently cool
the collector assembly. For more information, contact Hexacon Electric Company, 161 West Clay Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204. Phone 908-245-6200, Fax 908-245-6176, E-Mail to sales@HexaconElectric.com. |
