Hexacon Electric Company's Flo-Clean
Soldering Station is designed to allow full benefit from no-clean
fluxes without their inherent problems by acting upon the soldering
residue while it is still in a gaseous state. Before the fumes
have a chance to cool and condense on the board, a stream of
hot air from the Flo-Clean volatilizes and dissipates the residue.
The result is a solder connection which accepts conformal coatings,
does not cause problems during circuit testing and minimizes
residue on the board. Companies that have been using
the product have reported that in some applications, particularly
soldering of multi-layer circuit boards and in certain high heat
capacity manual soldering tasks, the heated air flow of the Flo-Clean
works to "preheat" localized areas. This preheating
action not only reduces overall process cycle times through shorter
soldering dwell time but also increases soldering efficacy when
working on multi-layer circuit boards and other demanding and
difficult soldering tasks. For more information contact Keith Hughes, Hexacon Electric Company, 161 West Clay Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204. Phone 908-245-6200, Fax 908-245-6176, E-Mail to Sales@Hexaconelectric.com |
