Part of the well-known Therm-O-Trac® Series, Magnum is a temperature-controlled soldering station designed to meet the demands of thick, multi-layer boards and other very high load soldering applications. Utilizing the largest iron and
tips in the Therm-O-Trac Series, it provides maximum heat capacity
through its large diameter case and a more powerful heating element.
This capability makes Magnum highly effective in automated soldering
and robotic heat transfer applications. Magnum is completely safe from
detrimental levels of EMI, RFI, electrical and other forms of
energy when soldering sensitive electronic devices, and has been
built to eliminate any possibility of ESD damage. Hexacon's unique
Posi-Ground® construction prevents the iron from having a
leakage voltage greater than two millivolts. The Model 2300 Magnum is adjustable
for any soldering temperature between 525°F and 850°F.
The Model 2300B Magnum is a three position station with settings
of 650°F, 750°F and 850°F. Magnum soldering tips
come in a variety of shapes to meet all soldering tasks and have
a thermal mass six times greater than conventional tips. For more information contact Keith Hughes, Hexacon Electric Company, 161 West Clay Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204. Phone 908-245-6200, Fax 908-245-6176, E-Mail to Sales@Hexaconelectric.com |
