Powerhouse Soldering
Irons bridge the gap between small pencil irons and larger, industrial
soldering tools. With high watt density, they are well matched
to high speed production. The Model 30H Powerhouse Hatchet Iron
is the standard in the telecommunication and power supply industries
for rapid soldering of terminals - the unique hatchet design
is considered lighter and more comfortable for this application.
The P35 and 35H
models have a 5/16" tip diameter, an exclusive feature of
Powerhouse Irons, to transfer heat energy more efficiently at
high wattages. The 5/16" tip is about half the weight of
a 3/8" style (therefore, it uses half the copper) but does
over 70% of the work. The result is a considerable savings in
both tip cost and energy efficiency.
Powerhouse Iron
models are available in 1/4" and 5/16" tip diameters
with wattages from 40 to 100 watts. Order the straight "P"
Series for long reach (6-1/2") or the "H"
Series hatchet design for easier handling.
