Steady output soldering irons maintain a constant power output independently
of thermal load or tip temperature. At switch-on they heat the
soldering tip to an individual idle temperature at a rate also
determined by their thermal capacity and element wattage. During
soldering the tip temperature drops to a working temperature
dictated by the connection rate and the thermal load presented
by the connection.
Hexacon steady output irons are
designed and engineered to be the most durable irons available
for industrial assembly and manufacturing applications. Over
75 models the widest range on the market - cover wattages
from 10 to 550 watts in plug tip form and from 85 to 1000 watts
with screw tips. Great performance flexibility is matched by
a wide selection of Hexacon soldering tips. Precise application-matching
is assured.
The top performance characteristics
of our steady output irons and their low life cycle costs which
set the standard of excellence for industrial applications are
also welcomed by the home craftsman in stained glass and elsewhere
as well as professionals in studios and workshops.
