Phenix Irons

Hexacon rethinks the temperature control concept in the Phenix iron. In-handle circuitry senses the power needed for the task being soldered.  Phenix's microprocessor senses the temperature change and delivers the power you need to solder a fixed temperature consistently.  Think of it as cruise control for your soldering iron. The Phenix delivers constant temperature even with varying loads.  Each Phenix iron is built to maintain a specific operating temperature despite thermal load.  If multiple temperature demands are required look to our temperature controlled HTC soldering stations which has the same ceramic element but with multiple temperature settings.  Available in 25 and 40 watts but performs like much more than that.

Features

  • Ceramic Element provides quick heat up and long life

  • Micro processor controlled

  • Two power levels available: classic and ultra

  • Three idle temperatures available: 600, 700, and 800

  • Elastomer cushioned grip

  • UL Listed

  • Uses CT style tips. CT tips also used in HTC stations.

Applications

Iron functions as any temperature controlled station.

Pinpoint Irons

Hexacon's Pinpoint Irons have the same dependable design as the Super S iron but feature a more robust handle and longer case for those who prefer a fuller grip and better access with their Hexacon tool.  Dependable, rugged, and easy to maintain.  The tip, element, cord, and handle of each Pinpoint Iron is independently replaceable.  Power ranging from 25 to 60 watts.  Also available in 220V.

Hatchet irons are an option with this category of Irons.  A Hexacon invention, Hatchet Irons reposition the center of gravity closer to the hand producing less torque on the wrist and shoulder.  In-line irons require use of the entire arm while the angled Hatchet iron’s work is done by the forearm effectively reducing operator fatigue.

Order the straight "P" Series for long reach (4-1/2") or the "H" Series hatchet design for easier handling.

Powerhouse Irons

Hexacon's Powerhouse irons have high watt density which equates to high speed production.   Designed in 1/4" and 5/16" diameter to have half the weight of a 3/8" diameter iron but does 70% of the work of that iron resulting in conservation of both power and materials in this iron group.  Extra-long reach of 6-1/2" case gives better access to connections.  Dependable, rugged, and easy to maintain.   The tip, element, cord, and handle of each Powerhouse Iron is independently replaceable. Power ranging from 40 to 100 watts.  Also available in 220V.

Heavy Duty Irons

Heavy Duty Plug Tip Irons

Hexacon's Heavy Duty series of Plug tip irons are the most rugged irons available for industrial soldering applications.  They are specifically designed for continuous operation and fast heat recovery. The element outer case is machined from a solid piece of high strength, nickel plated alloy steel and is practically indestructible.  The hexagonal case shape allows iron to be held in a vise or gripped with a wrench for maintenance without damaging it.  A front nut helps to secure the tip but also absorbs shock when iron is put in holder extending element life.  Deflector assembly helps to provide a cool comfortable handle, well balanced with good directionality.   Power ranging from 100 to 550 watts.   Dependable, rugged, and easy to maintain, the tip, element, cord and handle of each HD Plug Tip Iron is independently replaceable. Also available in 220V.
